I love pure minimal furniture like these pieces from XAM. The all collection is very essential, elegant and 100% made in Italy.

NY Design Guide
It’s been a week since I’ve come back from that incredible city and I’d like to share with you a quick shopping design guide. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
ModernLink
An amazing showroom with a collection of modernist Danish Designs sourced directly from Denmark restored and upholsteried by the owners.
The space inside is full of incredible iconic chairs, tables and cabinets.
The Perfect Bedside table
Choosing the perfect bedside table isn’t an easy task. Especially when there’s not much available space.
With only 34 cm to play with, this was my selection shortlist :
1. Backenzahn stool | e15 – £638
2. Fosta Stool | IKEA – £ 8
3. Hay Tray Square table – £ 119
4. VITTSJÖ | IKEA – £ 20
5. Butcher Table | Ethnicraft – £ 259
I decided to go for number 3, the Hay Tray square small table, white matte.
I can’t stress enough how minimal, pure, elegant and practical this table is!!! I also managed to get on the latest sales for a bit less than 100£ (yeahhh !!!)
It fits the space perfectly, the only problem I had was that it’s a bit too low for the height of the bed, which stop me from buying a matching one (I’ve never been a big fan of mirrored bedside tables anyway…).
I managed to solve the problem by placing a MUJI shelf raiser underneath, where I can also store some of my magazines and books.
The small Eclisse Lamp by Artemide, is the perfect final touch: a masterpiece designed by the Italian designer Vico Magistretti.
WHAT I LIKE: Simple and elegant
WHAT I DON’T LIKE: The tray sits loose on the metal frame (even if sometimes it’s useful)
WHAT I’D CHANGE: Having a slightly taller option would be nice…
Hope you like it.
