Say welcome to our new Lounge Chair (I still have to give her a name)!!! If you remember my last post about the top 10 Best Lounge Chair I had a clear idea that a Mid-Century piece was the style to go for.
I had almost decided to buy the IKEA EKENÄSET Armchair, but my boyfriend made the point that if we wanted a vintage style chair we should perhaps trying and look in a Vintage shop for an actual vintage one (good point, well made….). That’s where our research started: we visited few vintage flea market (there are lots here in London) and some antique shops, but we couldn’t find what we wanted (or it was out of budget). I just came across this lovely Taiwan Minimal flat and I couldn’t resist posting it here on the blog. Designed by the Taiwan-based studio CH Interior , it’s a triumph of warm wood, gray accents, and white walls.

Happy Friday! The weather has been so lovely here in London this week, that it’s still making me feel like I’m on holiday.
To keep the mood going, I’m gonna share a few more pics of the White & Blue House:
The living room is dominated by the curvy lines of the fireplace and the two little arched windows.
The vintage wicker chair has been restored and has stripy white and light blue fabric cushions, the same fabric has been used for the curtains and the sofa. The floors of the entire house are covered with local ‘terracotta’ tiles.
