You probably know that I love discovering new independent furniture brand. This month I discovered Nutsandwoods, a new Berlin based furniture design studio that produces lovely pieces.
I think it’s time for a new home tour today! A while ago my friend Massimo asked me to photograph one of his project: this stunning flat not far from Regent’s Park in North London.
The little wood side chair, found by the owner at a flea market is probably my favourite piece in the all flat.
This past design week in Italy it’s been sooo nice. I’ve never seen Milan that busy !!!! Since I spent just two days there I decided to concentrate on two areas: Brera (my overall favourite) and Tortona, I regret I didn’t visit the Ventura – Lambrate since I saw so many nice things on Instagram.
Anyway here’s my Top Ten:
1/ INTERNO ITALIANO
Hidden in a little corner of Brera I discover this brand inspired by the Italian way of living and created by Giulio Iacchetti. Internoitaliano objects “enjoy a special status: they are happy objects, the fruit of a 50/50 joint effort between the designer who designed them and the craftsman who lovingly made them,” I think you can really tell by the look of them !!
GIOVELAB is a small but sparkling ceramic studio based in Trentino. They are inspired by simplicity and produce an unconventional table collection made of porcelain, stoneware and wood from their local land. I was absolutely in love with those little spoons and the all ceramic collections (the packaging is also very cute! Perfect for a nice present). You can order from their online shop.
Finally, after five years that I’m with an Irish Boy, on Friday I’m going to Dublin to see the St. Patrick Day Parade!!! I’m super excited about it, I saw it a couple of time here in London but it just isn’t the same thing.
So here’s some great green inspiration from Irish design and traditional crafts. Get the craic started!!!
Hello everyone! This weekend it really felt like Spring is finally coming here in London, and that put me on such a good mood!! I have a very busy month ahead ( I’m off to Ireland next weekend and to Lisbon the one after) so here’s a quick post of some cool accessories that I recently discovered from the brand PER/USE.
PER/USE it’s a new Belgian manufacture that offers a mix of contemporary design furniture, lighting and accessories designed by international designers. My attention has been captured by the stylish Piano Coat Hanger that’s completely customizable to fit your needs, with a clever’Piano Keyboard’ effect…
