I recently discovered the dutch brand Hema in one of London airport departure shop:
- Candleholder / 2.Storage Boxes / 3. Metal Basket / 4. Storage Felt Box / 5. Cappuccino Mug / 6. Paper Clips 7. Fleece Throw 8. A5 Notebook
Apparently founded in 1926 as a department store for “ordinary” people, I’m surprised that I never heard about it but I’ve been attracted by the variety of things, the lovely color palette of the shop and the really convenient prices…
The above is my wishlist! As autumn is here I’m in love with the grey&yellow combination.
Have a look on their website for the full catalog (it changes really quickly, so keep an eye on it) …the stationary section is my favorite 🙂
Have you ever heard of this brand before?
p.s. All comments are mine, I am not affiliated with the brand in any way…
Happy Sunday everybody! Just a quick post to show you our new house addiction:
I grew up in a house where books have always been an important element, we had an entire room dedicated to it, we called ‘The Library‘ (that was my dad’s kingdom :-)).
I always love to see books displayed in someone’s house, I think they really give the personality of who is living there.
Anyway, it took me almost one year to pick the perfect bookcase, at the end I decided for the simple Jessie leaning bookcase by Habitat. Even if I am a minimalist fan I think a good bookcase could lift an interior without looking too messy.
I just got back from my trip to NYC and I loved it! Such a great vibrant, active, fast city: so many things to see, visit and do. I don’t think there’s an easy way to describe it.
While I’m trying to edit the almost 2000 pics I took, I leave you with this amazing Brooklyn Apartment by and for the Architect Brent Allen Buck, which I think represents the perfect NY Style: chich, vintage, sophisticated and simple at the same time:
I promise you this is the last post about my recent trip to Sweden, but I can’t resist sharing few pics I took of the Airbnb we were staying in.
