One year of Beautiful Things

I cannot believe it’s been 1 year since my blog adventure began!!! When I first started I couldn’t imagine that I would stick to it and keep posting, and now here I am, writing a quick summary of this year so far:

I love beautiful things_Blog

1/ I met lots of lovely people who share the same interests as me, both here and on Instagram, I couldn’t imagine the big and friendly the community is;

2/ My house got published in a few online magazines and websites, very excited about that, it’s nice to share my little space with other people;

3/ I’ve been nominated for the Amara Interior Blog Awardsย under the Newcomers Blog category! ย I’m very excited about this and I’d thrilled just to get the chances to get into the finals, but of course, I need your help!!!Voting is gonna start soon…

Minimal Antwerp Penthouse

Life has been pretty hectic in the last few weeks, lots of deadlines at work, and trying to squeeze in my half-marathon training with the rest of the daily tasks it’s been pretty challenging….pffff relax that’s what I need!!!

This amazing Vincent Van Duysen Penthouse in Antwerp seems to offer the perfect place to relax and clear the mind. I wish I could spend some time there today:

I’ve always been a big fan of his architecture and style and this penthouse it’s not disappointing me: it seems to be a brilliant expression of his minimal style.

It’s been a few years since I decided to make minimal Xmas trees instead of traditional ones. Here are a few trees I did over the years: I hope you like them…

1/ WHITEย BRANCHย 

Minimal Xmas treeA simple branch from a tree I found in the forest in Italy and then painted with white spray colour. Add some simple red white and black baubles (found at a localย DIY shop) and someย whole nuts to cover theย base.
