Last week I was in NY for a work trip and as soon as I got a few hours free on the weekend, I visited this amazing concept store in Soho.
While the entrance could be a bit intimidating (the lift from the road is a bit like: ‘Where the hell am I going?’), once you get at the 3rd floor you’re catapulted into the most beautiful light-filled open-air apartment in the heart of SoHo.
After being on holiday for a week, I’m back in a sunny London full of energy! Sometimes a little break is what you need!!!
And what’s better than discovering that there’s a new kid in town? Yes, because ARKET just opened a shop on Regent’s Street
The Scandinavian brand from the H&M group is a ‘modern day market that offers essential products for men, women children and the home. ARKET in Swedish means ‘sheet of paper’ and it alludes to concepts like Archive, Archetypes, Market. Sustainability is also one of the main values of the company, from the materials sources to the making process.
I cannot believe it’s been 1 year since my blog adventure began!!! When I first started I couldn’t imagine that I would stick to it and keep posting, and now here I am, writing a quick summary of this year so far:
1/ I met lots of lovely people who share the same interests as me, both here and on Instagram, I couldn’t imagine the big and friendly the community is;
2/ My house got published in a few online magazines and websites, very excited about that, it’s nice to share my little space with other people;
3/ I’ve been nominated for the Amara Interior Blog Awards under the Newcomers Blog category! I’m very excited about this and I’d thrilled just to get the chances to get into the finals, but of course, I need your help!!!Voting is gonna start soon…
Today’s time for a new home tour. We’re going to Helsinki to visit the lovely apartment of the Interior Designer Laura Seppänen.
I found her house in ATMINE (if you don’t know this website you should check it out, especially if you love to have a look inside other people’s houses like me…) and I totally have fallen in love with it.
You probably know that I love discovering new independent furniture brand. This month I discovered Nutsandwoods, a new Berlin based furniture design studio that produces lovely pieces.
