Today’s time for a new home tour. We’re going to Helsinki to visit the lovely apartment of the Interior Designer Laura Seppänen.
I found her house in ATMINE (if you don’t know this website you should check it out, especially if you love to have a look inside other people’s houses like me…) and I totally have fallen in love with it.
Full of natural light, black and white decor elements are simply juxtaposed in the right way. An incredible example of a Scandinavian decoration that isn’t extremely minimal, but just the right amount of pieces to make the space welcoming and calm.
I love the magazine hung from a clothes hanger, a good idea to copy.
The furniture is a mix between Scandinavian brands, Ikea, and few design pieces: like the Acapulco chair, and the beautiful Le Corbusier Marseille Lamp by Nemo. The gallery wall is light and airy with the beautiful black and white artwork, nothing is resulting too dominant, just the perfect balance:

I love this place, I really like how she styled every single corner with clever & simple ideas – like the utensils hung in the kitchen or the simple rounded bag next to the bed. Perfect for a rented small flat without spending a fortune.
That’s all for today, hope you’ll have a lovely weekend, here in London is gonna be raining all day so I’m planning to stay cosy at home and have some well deserved to rest 🙂

Love the comfortable sitting arrangement. I love the top placed chair. I also love the home decor because every color of the things are mutually creating desirability with the color of the walls.
