Last week I was just passing by a lovely area near Battersea Park and I saw this astonishing minimal house for sale…
Designed by the famous Doris Lockhart, it’s a masterpiece of Minimalism, pure and simple, filled with incredible art pieces and iconic furniture.
The dining room is bright and simple the big wood table is surrounded by Vintage DKR Side chair by Vitra and two folding Tomasa Chairs designed by Kazuhide Takahama. The big window overlooking the interior courtyard brightens up the space.
The kitchen is pure and minimal with a thick Carrara Marble top and pure and simple geometry (I love the little black espresso machine).
One of the 3 bedrooms is essential and calm, with white and grey tones. The only piece of furniture is a LC1 Armchair in grey leather, to underscore the artwork on the walls.
All the architectural details are so nice and minimal: full height doors, shadow gap at the bottom of the walls, concrete polished floor, and the big skylight is to die for …
I love this modern minimal house, it’s almost like an art gallery itself.
So, the good news is that is on sale…..the bad news is that it’s over 2million £…..maybe not for everyone’s budget.

I really like the kitchen and the use of clean white lines everywhere. It gives the house a very modern and clean look that is easy to envy.
